Blend custom-made milkshakes in-house or on-the-go with ease with Swirl Freeze! Not sure which flavors to start with? Here are a couple of delectable milkshake recipes to try first:
1. Mocha Chocolate Chip
- Mocha ice cream
- Chocolate ice cream
- Coffee ice cream
- Coffee beans
- Chocolate chips
Ah, coffee and chocolate. From the much-loved chocolate-covered coffee bean to the popular European practice of sipping espresso with dessert, people all around the world love this classic flavor combination. Mocha milkshakes are the perfect offering for food establishments of all kinds (especially cafes and kiosks), and you can blend a great shake with a few simple ingredients.
Start with a mocha base by using either mocha ice cream or blending equal parts coffee ice cream and chocolate ice cream. Mix in chocolate chips or chunks and coffee beans, and you’ve got a treat that’s sure to delight taste buds everywhere!
2. Coconut Tres Leches
- Vanilla ice cream
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Cream of coconut
- Toasted pound cake cubes/crumbles
- Toasted shredded coconut
For our next suggestion, we’re choosing a flavor that’s a little lighter. Like trifle from Great Britain and tiramisu from Italy, Mexican “tres leches” (translation: “three milks”) is a popular soaked-cake dessert. Usually, it’s made by saturating pound cake with three kinds of milk (evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream) to create a creamy, light, slightly sweet flavor. With a few modifications, it’s easy to capture the tres leches essence in a tasty blended milkshake!
Create your base flavor by mixing vanilla ice cream, sweetened condensed milk, and cream of coconut. Then, blend in shredded coconut and toasted pound cake cubes to complete the package!
